I stumbled across this amazing maven on Grey Likes Nesting and fell in like. Between her artistic childhood and her current renovated farm I became entranced. Throw in a tire-swing photo and I’m a total gonner…
Josh Merideth of Bella Grace Studios sent us these GORGEOUS film images of the beautiful Natalie Officer. Natalie is a stylist who has recently taken on the renovation of this old farmhouse in Louisville. She’s truly taken a piece of Kentucky history and made into something beautiful to be enjoyed for years to come. Really, her style is so relaxed and natural and we just can’t get enough of the green sofa!
For all of you stuck on the fact that the images are film, Josh said he shot them with a Contax 645. We are really digging his work–it’s all amazing.
Here’s a little bit about Natalie, written by Abby Ott:
As a mother, member of Dixie Design Collective and owner of Natalie O. Design Co., Natalie Officer has her work cut out for her. Crafting is something Natalie has been passionate about since a very young age. As the daughter of a beautician and a welder, she grew up in an environment where working with your hands was a necessity. As a result, she has worked various jobs throughout her career, from visual coordinator at a fashion house to staging homes to interior design to styling for photo shoots. She seeks to tell the stories of people, brands and homes. Natalie finds relationships to be of utmost importance in her work. She says it best in her own words… “Being in tune to the individual or company is essential to creating a space that they will inhabit. By valuing pieces of them in their own space, they begin to appreciate those elements of themselves even more.” She focuses on finding the meaning in possessions, and makes space functional without diminishing charm or soul. She understands what is essential about the things that represent us.
